Coverack Tide Challenge 2009
On Thursday 6th August Coverack held its annual Tide Challenge.
The event was organised by the community group Coverack Space 2000 and it was a great afternoon of family fun. Using what they could find on the beach nearly 20 structures were made to try and hold back the tide.
Many thanks to the National Maritime Museum for kindly donating a family ticket as the main prize. It was an enjoyable afternoon and it was good to see so many family and friends working together and having fun.
On Thursday 20th August Coverack Space 2000 will be holding a Sand castle and Sand sculpture competition in the afternoon on Coverack Beach, everyone welcome.
