Coverack Post Office opens again - 10th July 2009

Previous Post Mistress, Penny, cuts the ribbon to open the new Post Office with Angela Richards behind her, ready to run the new service.

In the photograph on the left you can see Colin Pound from the Post Office, standing with Sue Knight, Postmistress from St Keverne.
Sue will maintain a supervisory role over the Coverack Post Office. On Sue's left is Gwenda Wood, who will be working part time in Coverack Post Office. Behind the ribbon is Angela Richards, who has risen to the challenge of continuing Post Office services in Coverack. Holding the scissors, ready to cut the ribbon, is Penny Hammill, previously known to villagers as Penny Parton, the Post Mistress in Coverack for many years.
