Recycling Scheme In Coverack

     Cornwall Council Working in Partnership with Cornwall Paper Company

            Dates 2012: Jan 2,16,30;  Feb 13, 27;  Mar 12, 26;  Apr 9, 23;
            May 7,21;  Jun 4,18;  Jul 2,16,30; Aug 13, 27; Sep 10, 24; Oct 8,22; Nov 5,19;
            Dec 3,17.

Materials which can be collected are as follows:

Cardboard Boxes and packets FLAT PACKED, BUNDLED OR BOXED
What goes in the blue box?
Paper – all types (including Yellow Pages)
Glass bottles and jars – we do not collect sheet glass, mirrors, drinking glasses, china, spectacles, light bulbs, pyrex or broken glass of any type.
Textiles – reusable shoes, clothing, towels, sheets
(no duvets). Please place in a separate bag to keep dry.
What goes in the blue bag?
Plastic bottles – any colour or type, washed and squashed, but no lids
Drinks cans – please rinse out, Food tins – please rinse out
Aerosols – ensure they are empty with lids removed, Foil – clean
Please do not put glass in the bag. For health and safety reasons glass should go into the blue box.
Any blue bag that has glass in it will not be collected.
Newspapers, magazines, catalogues, brochures, junkmail white stationery, telephone books, greetings cards. BLUE BOX
PLEASE REMEMBERTHAT THERE IS A FACILITY FOR PAPER/MAGAZINE RECYCLING AT THE SCHOOL. PLEASE MAKE USE OF THIS FACILITY AS THE SCHOOL BENEFITS FROM IT. IT IS THERE ALL OF THE TIME.
Textiles - clean, dry, re-usable clothing, shoes, accessories, and household linens (Raising funds for charity). RED SACK

The Recycling Scheme picks up the recycling once a fortnight early on Monday mornings from houses on the main road through Coverack.
Collections from some minor roads may be later on Monday.
