Improved Water Mains - April 2009

roadworks

Here is an example of the road works
between Chymbloth Way and the Harbour.

May Gurney's teams are renewing the water main in Coverack, on behalf of South West Water. This has involved digging down to the old cast iron four-inch water main, in many places. In some cases it has been possible to refurbish the old main, but the stretch from Chymbloth Way to the Paris Hotel will be renewed completely, with a new four-inch plastic main.
