January 2006 Update

Christmas Day Swim 2005

On the left you see David Philpott and Carol Lawrence leading the 85 swimmers into the harbour on Christmas Day 2005.

The swim attracted a big crowd of spectators and raised funds for charity.

A video has recently been produced about Coverack lasting 68 minutes.

Xmas Swim 2005

Car Parking in Coverack

There has been widespread concern in Coverack over a suggestion that all, or part of the Kerrier-owned car park at North Corner, should be sold for housing. Strong representations opposing the plan have been made to Kerrier Councillors and officials.
