Coverack has been illuminated since 11th December when the Coverack Christmas tree event took place. Chairman of the Christmas Tree Committee Roy Cole, introduced Barbara Elson who switched on the lights for the tree. Santa made his usual visit with gifts for the children, on a sleigh drawn by a pony. Entertainment was provided by the St Keverne and Coverack Brownies, the Cober Valley Accordion Band, and Illumination Brass, conducted by Ian Edwards.
