Mermaid at dusk
To the left the new mermaid sits watching the bay at dusk, 9 days before Christmas, but to the right the mild season has kept periwinkle flowers in full bloom nearby.

Now in the dark she shows her true colours.


Her steel frame was made by Stanley, and the lights were added by Margaret.
