The Watch House

This historic watch-house dates from the 18th century when it was the base for local Excise-men in their fight against smugglers. It was taken over by the Coastguard Service in the 1820s and has been a private house since 1925. Sympathetically modernised whilst preserving its historic character, the house is stylishly furnished with two modern bathrooms, wood burning stove and central heating. It sleeps six comfortably and all rooms have superb sea views. Parking for two cars in the owner’s lane leading to the property. Available all year round.
