Programme of Films

There will be no films in September (hall not available) but we are making up for it with two in October.
All films - Warm welcome assured, doors and bar open open at 7pm, film starts 7.30pm, chocolates and ice cream available, £5 entrance.

Friday 5th October
The Mercy 12A
Based on the incredible true story of an amateur sailor's solo attempt to circumnavigate the globe. Starring Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz.

Friday 19th October
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 12A
A writer (Lily James) forms an unexpected bond with the residents of Guernsey Island in the aftermath of World War II, when she decides to write a book about their experiences during the war. Delightful.

Friday 16th November
The Leisure Seeker 15
Starring Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren on an adventure/drama/comedy road trip which promises tears, laughs and gasps.

There is also a matinee showing of The Leisure Seeker at 2pm for 2.30pm, with tea, coffee, and cake.

Friday 14th December
The Bookshop PG
Starring Bill Nighy, Emily Mortimer and Patricia Clarkson, the central theme of this enchanting film is courage and determination, passion and dreams.
